Mission Statement

Project X is a literary magazine whose goal is to provide a comfortable home for urban contemporary writing. The idea is to provide a place where stories can mix the urban with the cultural aspects of city living all across the U.S as well as the world. Nothing is too shocking or strange for this place, give me the nitty gritty, the funny, the obscure, as well as the heartwarming as long as it provides a distinct sense of place in urban society. Send me stories about being Cuban, Italian, Irish, Chinese, Lithuanian, Portuguese, Greek; well you get the picture, anything that has a cultural flare. That’s what this place is about, a home for urban reality as well as cultural. Flash fiction, fiction and nonfiction are all welcome.
